Terms & Conditions
Ordering, Payment and Cancellations
1.1 Booking Fee/Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (a portion of the total fee) is required, this is to confirm the start of the design process.
1.2 Payment Schedule: The final print will be required before the final designs are sent to print, covering costs such as printing services and postage.
1.3 Cancellation Policy: The Client may cancel the contract at any given point, if the design process has already begun then The Client will need to forfeit any deposit paid. Cancellation must be in writing.
1.4 Variations and Price Changes: Any changes or corrections after approval may incur additional costs.
Design, Proofing and Approval
2.1 Proofing Process: The Designer will provide digital proofs for approval, physical ones can be provided at an additional cost and may cause the process to take longer.
2.2 Client Responsibility: The Client is responsible for checking spelling, grammar, and layout.
2.3 Final Sign-off: Once The Client has signed off on the final design and The Designer has written confirmation that they have been approved, The Designer is not responsible for any errors found later.
2.4 Colour Variations: Please note that colours on screens may differ from printed products and minor variations may occur in handmade items.
Production and Delivery
3.1 Turnaround Times: Turnaround times may vary due to workload and the level of detail required. Estimated delivery times will be given upon the final payment invoice.
3.2 Delivery Liability: The Designer is not responsible for damages in transit, or delays caused by postal services or unforseen circumstances.
3.3 Damage Reporting: If an item does arrive damaged, The Client must notify within 48 hours of receiving the delivery, providing photos and written evidence and a replacement will be arranged.
3.4 Incorrect Addresses: The Designer is not held responsible for shipping delays caused by incorrect addresses provided by the client.
Returns and Refunds
4.1 Returns of bespoke items: Personalised and bespoke items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are incorrect or damaged.
4.2 Refunds: Any agreed refunds will be processed within 7-10 days. If a refund has not been received within this time, ensure to check with your bank/building society.
Intellectual Property and Marketing
5.1 Copyright: All artwork created by The Designer, Becca Hardman Illustrations, is protected by copyright and remains their intellectual property.
5.2 Marketing Usage: The Designer is able to use photos of the finished, personalised stationery for their portfolio or social media.
5.3 Usage Rights: The Client may be permitted to use the artwork/stationery for their wedding or personal use, but not to resell or reproduce them in anyway.
Liability and Force Majeure
6.1 Limitation of Liability: After delivery, The Designer shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to the Wedding stationery caused by third-party couriers.
6.2 Force of Majeure: The Client and The Designer understand that neither can be blamed if the other cannot fulfil their commitments because of things beyond their control, like natural disasters, pandemics, lockdowns or unexpected world events.
Specific Product Notes
7.1 Handmade/Paper Goods: As these products are hand painted there may be slight variations in size, shape and weight.
7.2 Disclaimer: The Designer is not responsible for any dissatisfaction arising from artistic style preferences, the illustrations are artistic interpretation and may not be exact photographic representation.
Data Protection
8.1 Privacy: The Client’s privacy and their personal information is handled in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regulations. Unless you explicitly request strict confidentiality in advance, The Designer may showcase materials that have been created for The Client online and on social media.
